Brief Description
Ball with hand written inscription in clear white print. Inscription reads, "THE BALL / with which Mr. H. Boyle of [Sa]ndhurst / bowled Mr. W.G. Grac[e] / in the M[atch] All England Eleven & Eighteen [of] Victoria / played Decr. 1873.". Sticker attached to reverse of ball carries the handwritten letters 'VCA'.
