Brief Description
Contemporary blind cricket ball made by Doug Sloan, a former Victorian Blind cricketer, for the Australian Blind Cricket Council. The ball is hand woven from intertwined 'Tubex' black nylon tubing around a metal wire frame. Inside are six metal bottle-tops, which jingle when the ball is delivered (for audibility), and lead sinkers (for weight).
