Brief Description
Black and white photograph; Australian athletes from the 1924 Paris Olympic Games in attendance at an outdoor ceremony, gathered around flowers and wreaths on the ground. Ivan Stedman is in the front row, second from right; Edwin 'Slip' Carr is third from right. Handwritten inscriptions (in part) on verso: "Aust Team at the Arc de / Triomphe, Paris, Olympiad / 1924 laying a wreath / on tomb of the Unknown Soldier.". Also on verso - copyright stamp from "Agence ROL".
