Brief Description
Black and white photograph; Australian athletes from the 1924 Paris Olympic Games moving around a mass of flowers on ground; two athletes at centre are carrying a wreath. "93237" at left. Cross drawn in pen to indicate location of Ivan Stedman; other athletes in attendance include: Frank Beaurepaire, Ernie Henry, Sid Ramsden, Chas Jardine. Handwritten inscriptions (in part) on verso: "Aust Olympic Team / laying a wreath on / the Arc de Triomphe Paris / 1924.". Also on verso - copyright stamp from "Agence ROL".
