Brief Description
Robert Ingpen's watercolour image of evangelist, Billy Graham, who drew a crowd of more than 130,000 people to the Melbourne Cricket Ground in March 1959. The artist's image number - 105 - and subject's name and text - '1959 MCG' - are handwritten below the design. A sheet of tracing paper, with grid lines and references, folds over the artwork which is signed and dated by the artist. The image is included in a tapestry celebrating 150 years of performances and events on the MCG.
