Brief Description
Large multi-coloured tapestry that was commissioned by the Melbourne Cricket Club to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the current site of the Melbourne Cricket Ground at Yarra Park, Jolimont in 2003. It was unveiled on 23 September 2003. The tapestry has been designed and woven around the 150 year time line of the ground and features the images of approximately 200 individuals. The tapestry design and images are by artist Robert Ingpen; the tapestry was woven by the Victorian tapestry Workshop in 2002-2003.
