Brief Description
Robert Ingpen's original design of an image of Australian batsman, Keith Stackpole. The artist's original image number - 128 - and name of the subject and country are handwritten below the design, with the pencilled years '1966-1974'. A sheet of tracing paper, with grid references, folds over the artwork which is signed and dated by the artist. The image is included in a tapestry celebrating 150 years of performances and events on the MCG. In 43 Tests, Stackpole scored 2,807 runs at an average of 37.42. He scored 10,100 first class runs.
