Brief Description
Multicolour print depicting Victorian era cricket game on green rolling field, with trees in the background, cricketers in the middle ground and two spectators reclining in the foreground. The text printed on the matting reads, "A CRICKET MATCH IN MARY-LE-BONE FIELDS, 1740, LAURENCE JOSSET". Print is number 179 of edition limited to 375, and the image is a more modern print of image painted after Frances Hayman. The image is mounted on mat with decorative stripes, and gold frame.
