Brief Description
Varnished wooden cricket bat, with spliced blade and twine bound handle. Imprinted on the face is the maker's name, the number '4' and the bat model THE ROYAL. Handwritten on the face, inscribed in blue ink, is text, "ENGLAND TOURING CRICKET TEAM 1946-47", followed by eighteen signatures.
