Engraved goblet presented to D. Wilkie and T. C. Hope of the University Rowing Team for winning the Challenge Pair Oared Race at the Melbourne Regatta in 1870. The silver goblet and stem feature an intricate pattern of engraved lines made up of sprays of leaves, bows, arches and symbols. Decorative inscription details the title, date, race and winning team.
