Brief Description
A silver medallion won by R.D. Booth, seated at four in a rowing eight. The medallion features an oared vessel with pennants flying, and lettering cast in relief that reads 'N.S.W. ROWING ASSOCIATION/ SYDNEY ESTABD 1878'. The reverse features a shield, laurels and a circled, knotted rope, within which is engraved 'International/ EIGHT OAR RACE/ SYDNEY/ April 9th 1881/ WON BY/ VICTORIA/ R.D. BOOTH - 4'.
