Medallion, gold finish; inscription on verso: "Ballarat Regatta / 1895 / Maiden Four / WON BY B.R.C. / W. Irving / No. 3". Medallion is in the shape of the Maltese Cross and a laurel wreath; obverse features shield with engraved image of rowers and boat on river.
