Brief Description
Engraved trophy awarded to R. Edwards, Grammar School Club in 1874. Silver goblet featuring a stem of three crossed oars tied with silver rope. Oars are fixed to a base which replicates a straw boater hat. The goblet bowl features an embossed design of four rowers in a boat with several bunches of grapes around the rim. Text on base reads: " MELBOURNE REGATTA 1874" Inscription on bowl reads:"MAIDEN PAIR/Won by/GRAMMAR SCHOOL/CLUB/R. Edwards/COX"
