Brief Description
Engraved trophy awarded to M. Gaskin, Geelong Centenary, Barwon Regatta 1938. Electroplated metal bowl with pair of wreath shaped handles set on a slender, decorative stem supported by a pair of oars. Separate painted, dark wood, round plinth. Inscription on bowl reads: "GEELONG CENTANARY/Barwon Regatta 1938/Senior Eights/Albert Park R. C./M. GASKIN 5 1/4?" Enamelled badge on trophy base, motto reads: "By the right use of Gods gift"
