Brief Description
A large, plaster free standing statue of a nude male athlete holding a discus, made up of four interconnecting pieces. This statue is an 1861 plaster cast of an ancient marble version of Myron's c.450 B.C.E. bronze sculpture, the 'Diskobolos', or discus-thrower.
