Brief Description
Colour slide negative depicting an older model plane and some people on a dirt tarmac. A corresponding developed photograph housed with the slide features the caption 'November 1956: Cloncurry Airport / 2/ RAAF Canberra aircraft ferrying the / Olympic Flame to Cairns stop to refuel. / Note the Olympic emblem'. The image was taken during the torch's journey to the 1956 Olympic Games in Melbourne.
