Brief Description
A photograph taken on the Main Stadium (Melbourne Cricket Ground) during the Closing Ceremony of the 1956 Melbourne Olympic Games. Image features six male flag bearers, from left to right: Trinidad and Tobago, Uruguay, the United States of America, the U.S.S.R., Venezuela, and Australia. This image was reproduced on the front page of 'The Argus' newspaper on 10 Dec 1956, and also in a Dec 1956 issue of 'The Australian Women's Weekly' magazine.
