Brief Description
Colour slide printed on plastic with a square, card surround. The picture was taken at the Melbourne Cricket Ground during the 1956 Olympic Games, and shows a race taking place on the track. A group of male athletes are running on the inside lanes, and a number of officials are judging a throwing contest on the field.
