Brief Description
Colour slide printed on plastic with a square, card surround. The picture shows the facade of the Myer department store building on Bourke Street, decorated with flags, with writing on the canopy that reads "XI OLYMPIAD MELBOURNE 1956". Plaster casts of Classical statues are arranged on top of the canopy. A large set of Olympic rings are attached to the side of the building.
