Brief Description
Colour slide printed on plastic with a square, card surround. The picture was taken at night and shows the front of the Myer department store building on Bourke Street. The facade is decorated with flags, and written across the canopy is "XI OLYMPIAD MELBOURNE 1956". Plaster casts of Classical statues are arranged on top of the canopy.
