Brief Description
Colour slide printed on plastic with a square, card surround. The picture was taken in Melbourne during the 1956 Olympic Games, and shows the Foys Emporium on Bourke Street. The building is decorated for both Christmas and the Olympic Games with a gigantic Santa Claus taking up three storeys, and flags of the world hanging from poles along the building.
