Brief Description
Colour slide printed on plastic with a square, card surround. The picture was taken in Melbourne during the 1956 Olympic Games, and shows the Melbourne Town Hall as seen from Swanston Street. The facade of the building is decorated for the Olympic Games, with a feature attached to the building that incorporates vertical bars, the Olympic rings and the Melbourne city crest.
