Brief Description
Colour slide printed on plastic with a square, card surround. The picture was taken at the Melbourne Cricket Ground during the 1956 Olympic Games, and shows the northern half of the ground, looking over the running track and playing field towards a three tier uncovered stand. A short distance hurdles race is taking place on the track.
