Brief Description
Colour slide printed on plastic with a square, card surround. The picture was taken at the Melbourne Cricket Ground during the opening ceremony of the 1956 Olympic Games, and shows spectators in the Member's Pavilion including Prince Philip and other dignitaries. In the foreground are a number of cameras set up on tripods.
