Brief Description
Colour slide with a square, plastic surround. The picture was taken at the Melbourne Cricket Ground during the 1956 Olympic Games, and shows athletes taking off their tracksuits before the start of a race. The viewpoint is from southern end of the ground, and the picture is taken from just inside the boundary fence, near the running track.
