Brief Description
Medal awarded to Alan E Reid. The obverse features a large letter 'V' which frames a flaming torch and the Southern Cross; two decorative leaves; and, the inscription 'VICTORIAN AMATEUR ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION'. The reverse is headed 'V.A.A.A. / CHAMPIONSHIP', under which is engraved '1947 / 10 Miles Walk / A. REID / 1h. 20m. 40s.'.
