Brief Description
Black and white, sepia toned photograph featuring Australian cyclist Chris Wheeler, pictured inside the Olympic Village in 1936. He is wearing short trunks and a white Olympic sports shirt, printed with an Australian flag on the right chest and Olympic rings on the left. Wheeler stands in front of the closed garden door of his accommodation. The building is probably house no 43, named “Haus Worms”, as one of the houses used by the Australian Olympic Team. A part of a bicycle can be seen through a window together with reflections of trees.
