Brief Description
Colour slide printed on plastic with a square, card surround. The picture was taken inside the Melbourne Cricket Ground during the 1956 Olympic Games, and shows the side of the Southern Stand seen from the middle tier of another grandstand. In the centre of the image can be seen the Olympic flame, burning in a brazier on top of a white building.
