Brief Description
Colour slide printed on plastic with a square, card surround. The picture shows the Melbourne Cricket Ground during the 1956 Olympic Games, and the viewpoint is from the east of the stadium, with the Member's Pavilion and Northern Stand visible. An event is taking place on the running track, where three athletes can be seen running on the inside lane. Along the upper frame of the slide is written "10,000 metres / V. KUTS & Gordon PIRIE".
