Brief Description
Colour slide printed on plastic with a square, card surround. The picture was taken from the Southern Stand of the Melbourne Cricket Ground during the 1956 Olympic Games. In the foreground is the running track with an athlete wearing a red vest running to the right. Beyond the playing field is the three tier Northern Stand.
