Brief Description
Colour slide printed on plastic with a square, card surround. The picture shows the interior of the Melbourne Cricket Ground during the 1956 Melbourne Olympics. The viewpoint is from the east of the ground, looking over the playing field from high in the Southern Stand. A sole athlete can be seen on the running track, and he is being clapped and cheered by spectators in the foreground. Along the upper frame of the slide is written "10,000 metres final / V. KUTS V".
