Brief Description
Colour slide printed on plastic with a square, card surround. The picture was taken during the 1956 Melbourne Olympics and shows the scoreboard at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. Posted on the scoreboard are the results of the 110 metres hurdles finals, in which the United States won first, second and third place. Three Stars and Stripes are flying from flagpoles on top of the scoreboard.
