Brief Description
A photograph featuring U.S.A. Olympic boxers Jim Boyd and Ray Perez, in a mock contest. They stand outside their compound at the Olympic Village, Heidelberg West, just days before the start of the 1956 Melbourne Olympics. Perez is giving a staged blow to Boyd's chin. Handwritten inscription on back: 'Jim BOYD +/RAY PEREZ/Nov./1956'.
