A typed note attached to the reverse notes 'Shirley Strickland former Olympic Hurdles Champion and now manager of the Australian Women's Athletic Team passes on some tips to four times Australian Hurdles Champion, Gaye Dell of Victoria at training in Montreal for the 1976 Olympic Games. Gaye is sole Australian hurdles representative at the Games'.
