Brief Description
Colour slide printed on plastic with a square, card surround. The picture was taken at the Olympic Village during the 1956 Melbourne Olympics and shows the sentry box at the entrance to the women's section, with a man in army fatigues standing guard. Along the upper frame of the slide is written "Sentry at entrance / to women's enclosure".
