Brief Description
Colour slide printed on plastic with a square, card surround. The picture was taken outdoors at the Olympic Village during the 1956 Melbourne Olympics, and shows six female Australian athletes sitting and reclining on a patch of grass. They are identified by writing along the top edge of the slide that reads "Fleur, Norma, Shirley / June, Mrs Saunders / Shirley - meeting in / front of house".
