Brief Description
Colour slide printed on plastic with a square card surround. The picture was taken in the Olympic Village during the 1956 Melbourne Olympics, and shows two women dressed in traditional Indian clothes, standing in front of a sign that reads "WOMEN / ATHLETES / ONLY". Along the top edge of the slide is written "Mary Lill Rao (India) / and friend".
