Colour slide printed on plastic with a square card surround. The picture was taken during the 1956 Olympic Games, and shows the inside of the Melbourne Cricket Ground, looking over an uncovered stand which is full of spectators, towards the scoreboard which has the results of the women's hurdles final posted on it. The flags of the winning runner's countries - Australia, Germany and Australia - are flying over the scoreboard. Along the top edge of the slide is written "Result 80m Hurdles / wo[mens]".
