Trophy, silver tankard; awarded to George Alexander by F T Sargood, in 1880. Tankard has one squared hollow form handle; engraved inscription on side of tankard, reads, "PRESENTED BY / THE HON BLE F.T. SARGOOD. / ON BEHALF OF / A NUMBER OF COLONISTS IN ENGLAND / to Mr. G. Alexander. / IN COMMEMORATION OF // THE VISIT OF THE AUSTRALIAN CRICKETING TEAM / SEASON 1880 / ...". Makers mark at right of handle.
