Brief Description
Colour slide printed on plastic with a square card surround. The picture was taken during the 1956 Olympic Games, and shows the inside of the Melbourne Cricket Ground, looking from a stand over the playing surface. In the foreground is one end of the running track. In the background is the covered Southern Stand with flags flying from the roof.
