Brief Description
Colour transparency printed on plastic with a square card surround. The picture was taken during the 1956 Olympic Games, and shows the inside of the Melbourne Cricket Ground, looking over an uncovered three tier stand and the edge of the covered Southern Stand which are filled with spectators. The running track is clear and there are several officials standing around the edge of the track.
