Brief Description
Medal awarded to Alan E Reid. The obverse features a large letter 'V' which frames a flaming torch and the Southern Cross; two decorative leaves; and, the inscription 'VICTORIAN AMATEUR ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION'. The reverse is headed ' V.A.A.A./ CHAMPIONSHIP', under which is engraved '1946/ 50 Kilometres Walk/ A. REID/ 5h. 8m. 39s.'.
