Brief Description
Original black and white comical cartoon depicting a man impassively watching an Olympic medal presentation on a television. The gold medal recipients head and shoulders are cut off at the top of the screen, but a box protruding from the top of the television implies the athlete pushed it up whilst mounting the podium. Unfortunately, the cartoon was not signed or dated, but the style resembles that of William Ellis Green (aka Weg), and it may be sending up the television broadcast of the 1956 Melbourne Olympic Games.
