Brief Description
A circular statistical document, with a rotating dial, called a "Swimming Records Selector". This device allows the user to review all the Olympic, World, and Australian records in all swimming events. Spaces are allocated for recording the records to be set at the upcoming 1956 Melbourne Olympic Games. The "selector" is housed within a brown envelope, with text on the front reading, in part: '.../THE RECORDS SHOWN ON THE ENCLOSED RECORDS SELECTOR ARE THOSE/CURRENT UP TO AND INCLUDING THE AUSTRALIAN OLYMPIC TRIALS HELD ON/30TH OCTOBER, 1956.'
