A spoon with an enamelled design on the handle. The design features, in gold on a red background, a flaming Olympic torch amidst the Olympic rings emblem. The year '1956' features above. Below, within a black field, is the text: 'MELBOURNE'. Along the underside of the stem of the spoon is impressed: 'PITCHER E.P.N.S. Al. MELB.'. Spoon is still wrapped in original plastic film, and stored in a two-piece cardboard box, with a grey lid.
