Object Detail

Brief Description
A gold rimmed drinking glass with enamel illustrations and text on face, in black and green. On front is an impression of the Olympic rings emblem. Around it is printed text, "ACI / OLYMPIC / YEAR BALL / 1956". On the back is an illustration of the MCG, with text below reading, "MAIN STADIUM / MELBOURNE CRICKET GROUND / ACCOMMODATION 120,000". This drinking glass was presented to every A.C.I. employee present at the 1956 staff ball, held at the M.C.G.
