Brief Description
Luggage tag made of a navy blue plastic pocket with a clear plastic window on one side that contains a cream card insert. The card has 'Advance' printed in the lower left corner. Printed on the blue plastic in gold is the logo for the 1956 Melbourne Olympic Games which features a cartouche-shaped logo comprised of the Olympic rings positioned across the upper flaming section of an Olympic torch. The bottom point of the torch handle extends out from a map of Australia, marking Melbourne. The logo has a gold border with text in blue along the top edge that reads 'XVITH OLYMPIAD'. The blue text along the bottom edge reads 'MELBOURNE 1956'. There is also a blue decorative leaf motif at each side contained within the gold border. The strap threaded through the tag is made of clear plastic with holes punched so as to adjust. It also has a silver metal buckle.
