Brief Description
A white glazed, gold-rimmed ceramic ashtray. At the centre of the bowl is a colour reproduction of the 1956 Melbourne Olympic Games emblem. The emblem features a flaming olympic torch planted on a map of Australia in the location of Melbourne. Above is the Olympic rings emblem. Around the emblem is an oval border with the inscription: 'XVITH OLYMPIAD/MELBOURNE 1956'.
