Brief Description
A bone china plate manufactured by Royal Albert, featuring the City of Melbourne coat-of-arms at one end, and the 1956 Melbourne Olympic Games poster design of a flaming torch over a map of Australia, at the other. Both images are crowned with the Olympic Rings emblem. Manufacturer and commemorative issue details feature across the underside of the base.
