Brief Description
Programme for the Closing Ceremony of the 1956 Melbourne Olympic Games. The front cover features an image of the medallion of the Games, and a coloured image - of lines of athletes on the Melbourne Cricket Ground - which folds around to the back cover. The programme provides details the football final and of the Closing Ceremony. The cover has been signed (top right) by Mr Avery Brundage (President of the International Olympic Committee) and by Kathleen Bourke.
